8. YOUR DATA RIGHTS
Under the freedom of information act (2000) any person(s) who use our site or create an account on our site has the legal option of requesting details of all data we hold on them. You must date your request and as such we will respond within 20 working days with your request. In the case of releasing sensitive information, we may ask for additional security information such as proof of identity. This does not affect your statutory rights. You can also request that we erase any of the personal data we have stored. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. In short, we cannot erase data that is vital to you being an active customer (i.e. basic account information like an email address). All social media sharing links, either displayed as text links or social media icons do not connect you to any of the associated third-parties unless you explicitly click on them.
10. RELEASE OF YOUR DATA FOR LEGAL PURPOSES
Saffron Indian Restaurant will not disclose data, even if requested for legal purposes unless it is explicitly requested with the appropriate legal documentation (such as a warrant). Under those circumstances, Saffron Indian Restaurant will comply with police or government agencies as they are legally obliged to do so. 11. COVID-19 Update
Saffron Wivenhoe will be closed every Monday throughout this second lockdown starting from Monday 9th November 2020 until Monday 7th December 2020.
As per government guidelines, we will only be operating a takeaway and delivery service from 17:00-22:00.
Please ensure all takeaway orders are pre-ordered before collection and that the designated person collecting the food is wearing a face mask.
We will be offering 10% off all collection orders Sundays-Thursdays as a thank you for your continued support during these unprecedented times.
